Just 'apt-get install openoffice.org'.

-
We are now mainly working on <a
-href="http://packages.debian.org/experimental/editors/openoffice.org2">version
-2.0 packages in experimental. Just 'apt-get -t experimental install openoffice.org2' them after adding experimental to your sources.list. Note that the
-packages are built on sid or even experimental and so they surely won't be
-installable on sarge or even etch without getting many new libs.

OpenOffice.org 1.1.x supports the i386, PowerPC, SPARC and S390 archectures
as linux versions. There was an ARM port founded and completed so ARM is now
supported too (upstream in 1.1.5, and not yet enabled in Debian).
