I can confirm this crashing behavior on a 1.6 ghz Pentium M, whether running at full speed or 600 mhz. The behavior first began after an unexpected unclean shutdown (battery failure) and subsequent reboot into reiserFS. suspecting file corruption, I cleaned out ~/.openoffice/ and purged the openoffice.org packages and reinstalled. Still crashes. Upgrading libc6 to the version in experimental also did not change anything, nor did upgrading openoffice to 1.1.4.
