I think I found a solution...

In the directory "/home/your_home/.openoffice/1.1.2/user/psprint/" there
is a file named psprint.conf

I just renamed (to any other name) and now I can print.

I hope this will help you to solve the problem

Best,

Miguel
I'm very sorry, but this solution doesn't work for me.
As I said in my previous post, I use OpenOffice version 1.1.3, and in my /home/kerka/.sversionrc it's written:
OpenOffice.org 1.1.3=file:///home/kerka/.openoffice/1.1.1.

I renamed psprint.conf from ".openoffice/1.1.1/user/psprint/", nothing has changed - the only printer is Generic printer. So I did /etc/init.d/cupsys restart and /etc/init.d/hpoj restart, without any success in changing printer to my G55.

The only working solution for me is downgrading cups packages to version 1.1.20final+rc1-10, as Karl-Heinz suggested.

Thanks anyway.

Vlada
