Bug#286989: openoffice.org: OOo doesn't start with libc6-i686 installed

Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.1.3-3
Severity: normal

With libc6-i686 OOo doesn't want to start. It segfaults.

I've used OOO_DEBUG, but it appears that the stack is corrupt and
it shows only one frame at 0.

Using 'export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1' to disable NPTL makes it
work again.

I've also added the libc6-i686 information below.
Oh, and I'm running on a self-compiled 2.6.10-rc2.

Perhaps it would be good to add the export to one of the scripts
used to start OOo. Of course, other options exist.
