and the window freezes. After several minutes the program runs again and
shows me the document.

As you may have noticed, noname.libc aka 192.168.171.4 is my print
server, but it is switched off normally, to save energy and not heat my
bedroom and disturb my sleep. I only boot this cups server, if i want to
print. But i don't do that now, i just want to view the document.

What business does ooo have with the print server, if i am not printing?
How does it even _know_ it was there once? Last time i used ooo was
before the last reboot. Does it save that information
anywhere, and how is this supposed to work with notebooks etc?

Btw, if i just exit the hanging program with Control-C on the terminal,
the next time i get the message

What is this lockfile? Why is it left there on a seemingly clean exit?
May the "1.0.1" be the problem? Shall i remove ~/.sversionrc and start
over?
