Hello,
I have recently upgrade to OOo 1.1.2-4 from testing and now I'm having
many
problems with OO Impress with text functions. When I try to select a word
in
a text object and then try to do anything that opens up another window
(such as selecting Insert->Special Character... or RIGHT-CLICK->Character,
etc. that opens up another window) then somehow the word I've selected
is unselected and instead the entire text frame is selected. Hence, if I
try
to apply any changes it applies it to the entire text frame instead of
just
the word chosen. This makes it impossible to perform superscipts or insert
special characters in this manner.
These functions seem to work fine in OO Writer, but not in OO Impress.
I'm currently using KDE as a window manager and thought it might have
something to do with a window focus issue, but I also tried it under
Gnome and Enlightenment window managers and have the same problem.
Can anyone else confirm this problem?
