That is exactly what dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot does: It configures and 
builds without fakeroot and then uses fakeroot to install. The problem is 
that during install one of LinuxIntelEnv.Set* (afair LinuxIntelEnv.Set.sh) 
gets sourced. LinuxIntelEnv.Set.sh however was created earlier while fakeroot 
wasn't in use und sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH to a fixed value.
So later, during install, an LD_LIBRARY_PATH without the fakeroot-Directories 
gets used, so loading the fakeroot-Library fails.
