The 'new' profile sits under ~/OpenOffice.org1.1.0/
I don't think so.
Reality will convince you:
.openoffice/:

There is no 1.1.2 under .openoffice
It wasn't me to update OpenOffice.org1.1.0 yesterday
And this is what I have installed: (result off dkpg):
ii openoffice.org 1.1.2-2 high-quality office productivity suite
ii openoffice.org 1.1.2-2 OpenOffice.org office suite binary files
ii openoffice.org 1.1.2-2 OpenOffice.org crash reporting tool
ii openoffice.org 1.1.2-2+1 Debian specific parts of OpenOffice.org
ii openoffice.org 1.1+20030814-3 OpenOffice.org office suite help (English)
ii openoffice.org 20030813-3 German hyphenation pattern for
OpenOffice.or
ii openoffice.org 20030813-3 English (GB) hyphenation pattern for
OpenOff
ii openoffice.org 1.1.2-2 English (US) language package for
OpenOffice
ii openoffice.org 1.1.2-2 English (US) Thesaurus for OpenOffice.org
Plus, my actions made my Settings re-appear. From OpenOffice1.1.0.
did you have some OpenOffice.org 1.1.0 version installed from .tar.gz?
I wouldn't bet here. Install it so often that I cannot remember from
where. Chances are, though.
But that shouldn't matter, should it ? after 1.1.1 was happily living
off .openoffice/1.1.1/.
Curious for an explanation,
Uwe
