Bug#216848: crash report on powerpc with stack trace
Hi,
I have an apparently more nasty version of this bug. I'm running
Debian/unstable on an iBook (dual USB, G3, 700 MHz). If I type
"openoffice" at the command line, Openoffice starts up but as soon as
its graphical display appears after the splash screen, the whole thing
crashes. No debugging messages are output and no dialog box appears.
Oddly, "echo $?" afterwards outputs 0.
If instead I ask openoffice to load a file: "openoffice blah.doc"; or if
I specify a specific component: "oowriter"; it also crashes, but with a
difference. Instead of showing a GUI after the splash screen, it
instead pops up an error dialog box:
An unrecoverable error has occurred.
All modified files have been saved and can
probably be recovered at program restart.
After I click "OK" on the dialog box, a stack trace is dumped to the
terminal, which I am attaching as the file "oo.log". This time the
output of "echo $?" is 134.
