Bug#241298: openoffice.org: It is specific to underlining that excludes spaces

Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.1.0+1.1.1rc3-1
Followup-For: Bug #241298

The original test document was created by copying and pasting an
affected line from a second (more private) document that was
(probably) created in Microsoft Word. Unpacking the file and
examining the resulting content.xml component reveals that the key
appears to be the last element in the following line:

<style:properties style:font-name="Times" style:text-underline="single" style:text-underline-color="font-color" fo:score-spaces="false"/>

This can be visually confirmed that OpenOffice partially recognizes
this -- if you open up the test document that exhibits the strange PDF
conversion behaviour, the underlined segment does *not* underline the
space between the two words. However, if you attempt to write that
segment again from scratch in a new file, and just click underline, it
*does* underline that space. Interestingly, removing the underlining
and then adding it back in in the test file adds it back in still
without underlining the space, so that option is being preserved
somewhere. Creating that exact line again from scratch creates the line:

<style:properties style:text-underline="single" style:text-underline-color="font-color"/>

PDF conversion appears to work on files where it does underline spaces
(I am assuming that specifying the font name is irrelevant to this
problem), so this may be the key element. I was unable to find an
option inside of OpenOffice that allows this to be toggled one way or
the other. It may be hidden someplace I haven't looked.
