Bug#240790: openoffice.org: symbol font in equations is "wrong"

 studying a bit the fontconfig documents and following your hints, i

 was not in any of the fontconfig configuration files (my fault? bad
 interaction within packages?), but i think that in the future the
 openoffice installation procedure should take care of verifying that
 the appropriate directive is effectively present in the fontconfig
 configuration
