system-wide plugin dir?

Hi,

I am trying to fix
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=227265 for Debian which
is fact is http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=12911.

I packaged mplayerplug-in for Debian contrib and installed it into the
"normal" Mozilla location. However, there apparently isn't a system-wide
directory (as /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins) for OOo I can add a symlink to,
just the <userinstall>/user/plugin.

Anyone knows why and how? Or is there some way to make it available
system-wide?

A possible way would be to create appropriate symlinks to
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/mplayerplug-in.so in the wrapper script for
each user starting OOo but I see that as an hack which is possible to do
when there really is no other solution...

Ideas?

Grüße/Regards,

René
