This bug hasn't been reproduceable on my system either since printer fonts are
handled by fontconfig (AFAIR 1.1.0-1). The problem was with automatic font
replacement for printing turned on by default. Times New Roman (TTF) was
automatically replaced by an ugly X font "Times", which was the cause of the
problem. However now, although font replacement is in effect, printing output
seems to be in Times New Roman. So, it seems that the font replacement
feature in oopadmin doesn't work anymore. Is this another bug or is it
depreciated by fontconfig?

Yes, I do have it. By the way, try changing font to "Times" and the same ugly
output will be produced.
Therefore, you may close this bug. However, I suggest disabling automatic TTF
-> bitmapped fonts replacement for printing by default. It is confusing...
Thank you for your great work!
