This is not the same error that I get. Maybe we are speaking
about different errors here. My error begins with "Error saving
the document..." and it happens for presentations with few pages,
e.g., 5 pages.
The error you describe has occured for me when my
user-installation mismatched the root installed version. In
my case, the directory names in, for example, the file:
~/OpenOffice.org1.1.0/user/basic/script.xlc was pointing to the
wrong installation directory.
