  Is there any way that you could add the line:

Categories=Application;Calendar;Office

to all the desktop files in the openoffice.org package which place files
in the gnome shared directory?  That way, those of us with gnome2
installed would get openoffice in the correct office portion of the
menu.  I think this option is simply ignored in gnome1 so it should be
of no change to gnome1.  Let me know if this is of help or not...
