Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.0.2-1

openoffice.org says it depends on  libgcc1 (>= 1:3.2.1-1) and libstdc++5
(>= 1:3.2.1-1). However, those versions are only available in the
unstable tree.

apt naturally tells us this:

<snip>

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
  openoffice.org-bin: Depends: libgcc1 (>= 1:3.2.1-1) but 1:3.2.1-0pre3
is to be installed
                      Depends: libstdc++5 (>= 1:3.2.1-1) but
1:3.2.1-0pre3 is to be installed
E: Sorry, broken packages
RESULT=100

<snap>

Cheers,
.walt

Sure. The packages are compiled for unstable on unstable.=20

I suppose you are using testing or woody and have our unstable
repository in your sources.list?

Use the backported packages for woody then
-> http://www.linux-debian.de/openoffice shows you mirrors you can use
and the appropriate lines for your sources.list.

Closing this bug...

Regards,

Rene
