stable only has 2.0.9. You probably have some backports which fetched a
newer one.

Programs compiled against 2.0.9 (which the backport is) sometimes do not work
really when run under 2.1.0. So we force << 2.1.0. (look: <<, NOT >> )

It will. If you are on stable..

The next backport will use the freetype shipped with OOo again, so
this problem won't exist anymore...
