I agreee with this.  There is nothing fundamentally "special" about openoffice 
that means it should have a seperate menu structure. With the better 
integration of menu systems with gnome 2.4/kde 3.2 you wont need to do 
different things for the two environments anyway, they both pick up each 
others menus.
