Bug#212744: acknowledged by developer (Re: Bug#212744: openoffice.org: default language is not remembered)

Hi Chris,

I saw this on an earlier version, too. I can't reproduce it anymore on
1.1.0-1, so I am closing this. Please let us know if you still see it.

Yes, I still see it. Just upgraded to:

diz $ dpkg -l openoffice\*|grep ^i
ii openoffice.org 1.1.0-1 high-quality office productivity suite
ii openoffice.org 1.1.0-1 OpenOffice.org office suite binary files
ii openoffice.org 1.1.0-1 OpenOffice.org crash reporting tool
ii openoffice.org 1.1.0-1+2 Debian specific parts of OpenOffice.org
ii openoffice.org 1.1.0-1 GNOME desktop integration for OpenOffice.org
ii openoffice.org 1.1+20030814-2 OpenOffice.org office suite help (English)
ii openoffice.org 20030813-1 German hyphenation pattern for OpenOffice.or ii openoffice.org 20030813-1 Italian hyphenation pattern for OpenOffice.o ii openoffice.org 1.1.0-1 English (US) language package for openoffice

[apologies - I have no idea how to get a list of openoffice packages with full pkg names, and versions...?]

and I still see "ABC[tick]English (UK)". Even within the same session of OOo, if I change it, click OK, and go straight back to the same dialog, it has changed back to USA.

This with no document open, as the first thing I do after starting.

Please let me know if I should provide further info...

cheers,
c.
