Re: cvs commit to oo-deb/debian by halls

Hi Chris,

A Head's up ..

For OOo 1.1 Beta2

I installed "upstream" a patch to boost that replaces the
/usr/include/asm/atomic.h header that can no longer be used on some platforms
from userland.

It provides atomic increment and atomic decrement for use by boost which in
turn gets used in dbaccess and sc.

I implemented things for ppc and x86 but did not implement s390.

You might want to take a look at the end of boost_1_27_0.patch or
boost/boost/detail/linux_atomic.h (from the patched build) and add in the
correct code for S390.

Or simply revert it to what it was before that change (as long as
/usr/include/ asm/atomic.h is usable from userland on Debian).

Either one would work.

Kevin
