Hi debians,
I have an LFS system with recent packages of glibc (2.2.5 with patches),
binutils (2.13) and gcc (3.2) and tried to compile OpenOffice 1.0.1 afte the
LFS hint at http://www.geocities.com/tush/lfs/
The first error waas simple, as in lbnames.h the gcc 3.2 was not recognized
successfully. But after some hours I get the error
Checking DLL ../unxlngppc.pro/lib/libucpchelp1.so ...: ERROR:
../unxlngppc.pro/lib/libucpchelp1.so: undefined symbol:
_ZTIN3ucb25ContentProviderImplHelpere dmake: Error code 3, while making
'../unxlngppc.pro/lib/libucpchelp1.so' dmake:
'../unxlngppc.pro/lib/libucpchelp1.so' removed.
as you got, too. You mentioned that you got it compiled later. So what was the
trick?
Thanks for your advice, Dan
PS: No, the LFS mailinglist and even the author of the hint have no idea.
