Configuring openoffice and brazilian (abnt2-br) keyboard
For Debian dists - woody users.
Change the following files:
1) In the the file /etc/environment put these lines:
LANG=pt_BR
LC_ALL=pt_BR
LC_CTYPE=pt_BR
2) Make sure that /etc/locale.gen has the line:
pt_BR ISO-8859-1
3)Also, add the following line in the locale.alias
portuguese.br pt_BR.ISO-8859-1
When you begin your X environment choose brazilian portuguese language option.
After that, start the openoffice and enjoy to write "português" with all tools you need to do that.
