Yes, this is the medium term plan :)
Rene, for now you can skip the manifest check: define the environment
variable IGNORE_MANIFEST_CHANGES and continue the build. I'd recommend a
command line like this:
dpkg-buildpackage -nc -rfakeroot
So that you don't have to restart the build again :)
