Run this command to see the errors and install Openoffice manually:
/var/local/wolfgang/OpenOffice/tmp/openoffice.org-0.641d.cvs20020408/build-tree/oo_stable1_cvs20020408_src/instsetoo/unxlngi3.pro/01/normal/setup
