building on testing

I am having problems compiling oo.o under debian testing.
the problems seem to be glibc related.

I am having these problems:
when I try to bootstrap oo.o (all build numbers/cvs OOO_STABLE_1) I
can't build the expat library in external (I tried both with gcc 2.95
and 3.0.3 as found in testing)
I am getting errors with size_t

So I tried to build another compiler (gcc 3.0.4) but I had no success (
I get these errors

In file included from
/home/rdfm/src/gcc-3.0.4/gcc/gengenrtl.c:23:
/home/rdfm/src/gcc-3.0.4/gcc/system.h:330: conflicting types
for `getrlimit'
/usr/include/sys/resource.h:52: previous declaration of `getrlimit'
/home/rdfm/src/gcc-3.0.4/gcc/system.h:341: conflicting types
for `setrlimit'
/usr/include/sys/resource.h:72: previous declaration of `setrlimit'
)

What I wanted to know is: has anyone had success building oo.o under
testing? Has anyone had the same problems? Solutions? Puhleeese!!!!

(I have to use RH right now to compile oo.o, but using two distros is
space consuming....)
