Addendum to my last replyHere's a partial copy of the CUPS error_log, snapshotted between a /etc/init.d/cupsys start and a /etc/init.d/cupsys stop. It seeps that cupsys tries to restart old failed jobs.

What is gpc ? The clipping library ? If so, why not include it ? not GPL ? Not DFSG-compliant ?
