I am willing to open the bug against release.debian.org. Ideally I would need to know how many Forge package are still not compatible with Octave 4.4. This list has shrunk since we last discussed this, because we did several uploads, but I don't have the time to verify. We can also say to the Release Team that there are few such packages, and that we stand ready to fix them during the transition.
