I guess that it will take some time until dh-octave reaches unstable, by 
looking at the histogram of the waiting time for packages in NEW:

(Yes, I wrote the script for producing that histogram.)

There is a dip in the histogram after 60 days.  This is perhaps the 
typical waiting time.
