Package octave-ltfat is prevented from entering testing because of build
failures on amrhf and mips. I filed Bug#765545 against ftp.debian.org
requesting the removal of the arch binaries, but the ftp-masters did not
act on it yet. Is there anything we can do in order to ensure that the
new version of octave-ltfat will be in testing before the freeze?

I think your only option is to ping the ftpmasters.

I answered too quickly. There are actually two other options.

The first one is to request give backs. It seems that it's what you have done (or someone else) for armhf, since the package is currently building there again.

The other option that I'm pursuing is to build the package on the armhf and mips porterboxes. I got it built on armhf (and will upload it if the give back fails there). On mips it's been building for two days, and apparently it went beyond the point were it failed on the buildd. Unfortunately the porterbox is going to reboot in about 10h (I guess because of a security update), so I'm not sure it will work.

Stay tuned.

Great, thanks.

Rafael
