This looks interesting, but my free time is scarce for generating the
Debian package right now.
Otherwise, I can attempt it myself. It might be tricky, because I think
it requires some specialised Linux modules.
You might try the make-octave-forge-debpkg script from the octave-pkg-dev
package as a starting point.
