Some obsolete functions were removed from glpk, but Octave still uses them. As a consequence, the configure script of Octave fails to detect glpk (but Octave nevertheless compiles), and the resulting Octave binary does not have the functionality provided by the glpk.m function. I attach a build log for reference. The severity of this bug report will be raised when the new version of glpk is uploaded to unstable. -- .''`.
