[Pkg-octave-devel] Bug#708191: Bug#708191: octave-openmpi-ext will sometimes run successfully, error out or crash



Sorry about the delay, I was on vacation (or as close as a grad student gets to one).

My system was a stock testing system at the time.  It's a relatively new install (around a month).  I haven't done anything like install openmpi/octave from source, install from non-Debian repos etc.  All the packages were from the Debian testing repo(s).

I installed the version of octave-openmpi-ext from unstable (which also forced octave to upgrade).  After that, it works consistently.  The problems seems to be gone. 

Thank you for your time.  Is there anything I can do?
