Package: octave-ocs Version: 0.0.3-1 Severity: minor Justification: Complicates backporting unnecessarily. Dear octave-ocs maintainer, as octave-ocs isn't in Debian stable I wanted to build it for stable, but this wasn't possible without removing the versioned Build-Depends on octave-pkg-dev. And by this I found out, that the versioned dependency isn't needed (anymore?), the version found in stable is sufficient. Therefore I kindly request, that the next upload of octave-ocs removes this versioned dependency or at least reduces it to the version found in stable, to ease backporting. AFAICT so far the package built for stable (with pbuilder) works fine.
