Your package fails to build with the upcoming GCC 4.4. Version 4.4
has not been released yet but I'm building with a snapshot in order
to find errors and give people an advance warning.

GCC 4.4 cleaned up some more C++ headers. You always have to #include
headers directly and cannot rely for things to be included indirectly.

You can reproduce this problem with gcc-snapshot from unstable.

> gethelp.cc:58: error: 'EOF' was not declared in this scope

After fixing this, the build also fails with the following (as does octave3.0):

The octave2.1 package has been removed from Debian so we are closing
the bugs that were still opened against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/516402 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Kind regards,
