I intend to upload octave-image_1.0.8-3 as in SVN r2896. This version moves graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat from Depends into Conflicts. Thsi should fix Bug##517903, which would rather be qualified as an RC bug, since the imread function is totally broken with GraphicMagick. -- Rafael
