[Pkg-octave-devel] License terms for ANN documentation file
I am contacting you about the licensing terms of the documentation file
distributed with ANN, version 1.1.1. We are trying to build a Debian
package for the octave-ann package from Octave-Forge [1], which is based on
your ANN library.
Debian has a quite strict set of rules regarding "freeness" of its packages
and octave-ann has recently been rejected [2] because it fails to meet one
of the DFSG (Debian Free Software Guidelines [3]), namely because the
sources for ANNmanual.pdf file are not available. Could you please
distribute them and clarify their licensing condition as well?
