Sorry, I cannot parse the sentence above.  I guess that "remove" should be
"remote", but I do not understand what "backwoods of the internets" and
"RFC" are.

Oh, yes, you are right, I have forgotten that I committed the 0.5.1+dfsg-1
version of the package to the SVN repository.

Forget my question.  I was wondering whether you were already using a VCS
elsewhere to develop your package.  At any rate, no, dpatch is not a VCS.
