I hope that octave2.1-forge (as well as all octave2.1 related packages) will
be removed from the distribution before lenny is released.  One
pre-condition for that to happen is that we are capable of providing a 
solution for the new pkg framework in octave2.9.

I am afraid this bug report would need a "wontfix" tag...
