Subject: octplot: doesn't work at all
Package: octplot
Version: 0.4.0-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

octplot doesn't work at all.

  1) It doesn't automatically get into octave's path, so you have to use
addpath.

  2) Doing that doesn't help, because it doesn't work with octave2.9, even
though
that's what version the package depends on.

Basically, it's absolutely broken currently, which is a shame.

e.g.:

octave:1> addpath("/usr/share/octave/site/api-v26/m/")
octave:2> octplot_enable
error: Octplot was compiled for a different version of Octave
error: evaluating if command near line 40, column 3
error: evaluating if command near line 28, column 1
error: near line 54 of file
`/usr/share/octave/site/api-v26/m//octplot_enable.m'
octave:2>
