[Pkg-octave-devel] Bug#435205: octave: copyright file incorrectly lists GPLv2 only

Package: octave
Version: 1:2.1.73-13
Severity: minor

The /usr/share/doc/octave2.1/copyright file incorrectly states that
Octave is GPL version 2 only. In fact, every source file contains a
copyright statement like the following (from src/octave.cc):

	Copyright (C) 1996, 1997 John W. Eaton

This file is part of Octave.

Octave is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as
published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2, or
(at your option) any later version.

This has also been confirmed by JW Eaton:
