gnuserv and gnuclient are included in XEmacs. If you want gnuserv with
Emacs, you have to install the required package, and furthermore to
start "gnserv-compat" first, otherwise you get strange behaviour in
Emacs. So it depends on wheter you've choosen Emacs or XEmacs.
