[Pkg-octave-devel] Bug#340125: octave-mode rebinds M-BS
Package: octave2.9-emacsen
Version: 2.9.2-2
Severity: normal
Octave-mode (in xemacs 21.4) seems to be rebinding the meta-backspace
keystroke:
M-BS runs `octave-mark-defun'
This is unwise because it's a standard keystroke (backward-kill-word)
which many people frequently use as part of normal editing. Changing
the definition to something else is confusing and annoying to these
users.
