Package: octave2.9
Version: 2.9.1-1

Apt refuses to install octave2.9 on my system without also installing
atlas2-base, which is obsolete. "apt-cache show octave2.9" produces an
explicit dependency on atlas3-base, which I have installed already. Any
dependency on atlas2-base must be implicit, and (I have concluded) is unlikely
to be intended. I suggest removing atlas2-base from the system on which the
package is built, and solving whatever build problems come up, thereby
producing a package without this dependency.
