[Pkg-octave-devel] Request for sponsorship (SUNDIALS suit)
Hello,
I have packaged SUNDIALS suit of Nonlinear and DIfferential/ALgebraic
equation Solvers from http://www.llnl.gov/CASC/sundials/ that I use in my
work and I thought it would be of interest for many users if it was part of
Debian. It comes under the BSD license. To my knowledge, it includes the
only free IVP solver (CVODES) with forward and adjoint sensitivity analysis
capabilities.
In particular, John Eaton is working on an interface between Octave and the
SUNDIALS solvers. Would anybody here be interested in sponsoring this package
into Debian? John suggested that since it is connected to Octave, maybe it
can be maintained with a connection to the Debian Octave Group.
