These logs also mention

findlib: [WARNING] Interface topdirs.cmi occurs in several directories: /usr/lib/ocaml/compiler-libs, /usr/lib/ocaml

but unlike the other bug that I just opened, this doesn't seem to cause
any ill effects and the build continues, to fail later.

I don't know what's different about these platforms when compared with
the ones with the other class of FTFBS - perhaps just version skew?
There's no obvious correlation with endianness or word size.
