Ah, okay.
My use case for this is basically: I’ve got a somewhat minimal,
fully self-contained “bootstrap” repository, which contains all
essential and build-essential packages, and all packages required
to bring a system up otherwise (kernel, bootloader, etc.), and a
few convenience packages, and packages needed by cowbuilder and
sbuild, etc. and, with this, I can check whether I need to add
any new dependencies, like when ustr became pseudo-Essential.

(gnutls can also be used, but if you are compiling lynx for your own use,
there is no reason to consider using that package)
