Bug#682031: unison: Bash completion does not work
Package: unison
Version: 2.40.65-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Bash completion does not seem to work with Unison.
A completion file is present,
/etc/bash_completion.d/unison/unison.completion.bash, but it seems not to be
used.
"complete |grep unison" returns nothing.
If I type: "source /etc/bash_completion.d/unison/unison.completion.bash", then
"complete |grep unison" returns: "complete -o plusdirs -F _unison_2_40_65
unison-2.40.65", and "unison-2.40.65 d[TAB]" completes with "unison-2.40.65
default" (My $HOME/.unison/ directory contains a file named default.prf.)
I think it is not directly related, but /usr/share/doc/bash-
completion/README.Debian indicates dh_bash-completion should be used instead of
/etc/bash_completion.d/.
Please let me know if additional information is needed.
Regards,
Kristjan Onu
