Bug#659151: automatically fall back to older version

Package: unison
Version: 2.40.63-2
Severity: wishlist
Tags: upstream

After upgrading my sid desktop, When I start unison, I am shown

Contacting server... Fatal error: Received unexpected header from
the server: expected "Unison 2.40\n" but received "Unison
2.32\n\000\000\000\000", which differs at "Unison 2.3".

I have unison-2.32 installed. I think it would be cool if unison
could try the older version (display a notice) and only display this
error when the older version is not found.
