Bug#670733: ocaml-cry: FTBFS: Incorrectly thinks it's building as root

Source: ocaml-cry
Version: 0.2.2-1
Severity: serious

From my pbuilder build log:

...
checking build system type... x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
checking host system type... x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking that calling user is not root... configure: error: configure script
must not be run with root user!
make: *** [debian/stamp-autotools] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2

My pbuilder setup does include BUILDUSERID and BUILDUSERNAME parameters, so
this error message is incorrect. (And I can verify that with other package
builds, the processes are running as UID 1234.)

Some other source packages that give this same error message (might not be a
complete list if there are others that Build-Depend on one of these, or on
another package that FTBFS):

ocaml-cry
ocaml-duppy
ocaml-gstreamer
ocaml-ladspa
ocaml-lame
ocaml-mad
ocaml-mm
ocaml-ogg
ocaml-soundtouch

After I wait a short time for comments on this bug, I'll be cloning it to
cover the others.
