Package: advi
Version: 1.9.0-1+b1
Severity: normal

/etc/advi/jpfonts.conf is not read, and Japanese fonts do not appear
(unless you have Microsoft fonts installed).

>From strace, it seems to be searching for the following directories:
open("/home/dancer/.advi/jpfonts.conf", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = -1
ENOENT (No such file or directory)
open("/usr/etc/advi/jpfonts.conf", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = -1 ENOENT
(No such file or directory)

Workaround for now:

mkdir ~/.advi
cp /etc/advi/jpfonts.conf ~/.advi

Proper fix:
fix the search path for advi.

   * Add to the advi-examples package the simple japanese test file.
